Welcome to the British Bulldog

If the words Arsenal, Tottenham or Blackburn mean anything to you, the Bulldog is the place you need to be. We open at 7:00am so you can catch your favorite team live from across the pond. (If you don’t know what any of this means, you can go ahead and stop reading now.) This is English Premier League heaven, but also soccer and rugby of every stripe. If you’re a fan or a player of the Beautiful Game, you’ll be in good company at the British Bulldog. Enough said.

Bulldog Football Schedule

October 17th, 2016

Feature Matches

UEFA Champions League football features mid week.  Bayer Leverkusen v Tottenham, and Leicester City v Copenhagen  headline on Tuesday, before the huge fixture between Barcelona and Manchester City on Wednesday!

Manchester United continue a difficult week on Thursday, when they face Fenerbahce in the Europa League.  United faced Liverpool on Monday already, and then have Chelsea to deal with on Sunday to close their gameweek!

The weekend features plenty of great football, but the highlight matches really fall Sunday.  First up, the aforementioned clash between Chelsea and Manchester United!  Will United have anything left in the tank for the resurging Blues?  A bit later in the day we turn our attention to the MLS Playoff picture.  The Colorado Rapids could still take the Supporters Shield with a win over Houston at home Sunday afternoon!  In order for that to happen though, Dallas must lose to L.A..  Unfortunately the Galaxy sit firmly in third place with little to play for, so we have to hope they are up for it.  In other MLS matchups with playoff implications, Toronto can leap to 2nd in the east with a win, and RSLSeattleSporting K.C., and Portland are all still fighting to earn a berth in the postseason!  Portland being the team on the outside looking in, but poised to nab a spot from one of the three teams ahead of them in the standings!  MLS decision day will have all ten matches kicking off simultaneously at 2pm MST!

On the Horizon

The League Cup features mid week, with Liverpool v Tottenham & Manchester United v Manchester Cityheadlining!  The MLS Playoffs begin, with the first round falling Wednesday and Thursday, and the beginning of the Conference Semifinals on Sunday!
