Welcome to the British Bulldog

If the words Arsenal, Tottenham or Blackburn mean anything to you, the Bulldog is the place you need to be. We open at 7:00am so you can catch your favorite team live from across the pond. (If you don’t know what any of this means, you can go ahead and stop reading now.) This is English Premier League heaven, but also soccer and rugby of every stripe. If you’re a fan or a player of the Beautiful Game, you’ll be in good company at the British Bulldog. Enough said.

Bulldog Football Schedule

December 5th, 2016

Feature Matches

Feature matches this week include the conclusion of the Champions League Group Stage, the NCAA Division 1Men's Semifinals & Final, and the 2016 MLS Cup Final!

Here's a look at each group in the Champions League competition, and what's left to play for on the final two days before the field is set for the Round of 16!

Group A:  PSG and Arsenal are tied on points, with the French side holding the advantage due to more head to head away goals.  Arsenal can still win the group, but need PSG to drop points in their final match against Bulgarian side Ludogrets.

Group B:  There are three horses still in the race here, with each capable of winning the Group, or going home on the day.  Napoli and Benfica both sit on eight points, with Besiktas on seven.  If Besiktas win they are through, since Napoli and Benfica are meeting on the other side of the bracket.

Group C:  There is nothing to play for here, as Barcelona are the clear winners of this group, and Manchester City runners up.

Group D:  There is nothing to play for in this group either, as Atletico are top, and Bayern Munchen are runners up.

Group E:  Monaco has won the group, with Bayer Leverkusen in second.  Tottenham need at least a draw to ensure they stay in Europe, and move into the last 32 of the Europa League competition.

Group F:  Borussia Dortmund travel to Spain to face Real Madrid, in a match that will decide who wins the group.  Right now the Germans hold the advantage, but a win for Madrid and they will take the group.

Group G:  Leicester City are clear winners here, leaving Porto and Copenhagen to fight for the second place berth.  Porto face Leicester in England, and must win to keep their hopes alive.

Group H:  Juventus and Sevilla are fighting for the top spot in the group, with Juventus safely through no matter the results.  Sevilla could go top with a win over Lyon, but they could also still end up in third if Lyon wins by two against them.  The French side is at home in this critical match.

The MLS Cup Final falls Saturday night at 6pm, with Toronto FC hosting the Seattle Sounders!  The Pub will be hosting a Cup Final Party for this massive match to decide our domestic Champion.  No matter who takes the title, they will be first time winners of the Cup!  Join us Saturday night for the final match of the 2016 MLS Campaign!
